The Misophonia Association has developed a network of regional support groups through Facebook which are designed to provide a support system for people with Misophonia to connect with others within their area with similar experiences. Currently, there are only groups designed for people with Misophonia and there are not specific groups for family members, age-oriented groups, educators, etc. however, this is something that the association is supportive of. The private Midwest support group can be found on Facebook under the name “Midwest Misophones” and is relatively active with approximately 300 members. A worldwide Facebook group is also available under the name “Misophonia without Borders.”
